MEAN STREETS /HOOTERS CAR SHOW Saturday, October 18th from 6 pm to ??? FREE to spectators/NO ADMISSION FEE! Entries, vendors, and sponsors should arrive by 5 pm to assure their placements. Sponsored by: Round Rock Scion/Toyota, TXR Car Audio & Electronics, The Rim Shop, Champion Scion/Toyota, Maxwell Dodge, Cleo Bay Suzuki, Maxwell Dodge, Wild Toyz Customs, DAP Records, Hooters, and Neu Audio. Neu Audio is also sponsoring the DB Stereo Sound contest and the Street Glow Neon contest. DAP Records and Mean Streets are proud to present KJ Hines as our musical guest for the evening! PLEASE DO NOT BRING ALCOHOL TO THIS EVENT! NEW CATEGORIES APPLICATIONS... CHECK THIS OUT! There will be three [3] Brackets instead of First, Second, and Third. It will go by points only. All of this criteria is subject to change without notice. this method insure that there is a category for everybody! Nobody is left out. There will be 27 trophies available, and we will attempt to maintain at least a 'two for one ratio' on the awards. This means that if there are only 30 entries; then only 15 awards will be given out. So... 27 trophies will safely cover at least 54 entries, but it can also could cover up to 81 entries with 1 in 3 ratio. There is also a new 'parking policy' in regards to the Hooters events. From 5 pm to 6:30 pm.. only entries, vendors, entertainers, and sponsors will be allowed in the restaurant's parking lot. Then after 6:30 we will 'open it up for anyone to park there! We had to do this due to some problems that occurred at the last Hooters show. There were like 75 show cars parked in the restaurant parking lot, and only half of them were entries! This forced some [ about 17 of the entries to park in the lots that were not on Hooters property.... resulting in our Judges literally having to search all the surrounding parking lots to look for entries. This added about 30-45 unnecessary minutes to the judging process. These new parking rules are an attempt to solve that problem and shorten the judging process; so please work with us . THANKS PEOPLE! BEST OF SHOW = the highest score of all scores... THE BIG DOG! Motorcycle - Best and Runner Up awards will be available. It will require three entries to use two trophies, and at least two motorcycle entries to use one trophy. . BRACKET ONE = 3 trophies.... 1 for the best Domestic Score... 1 for the best Truck Score... and 1 for the best Import Score. This will be similar to winning a First place trophy. BRACKET TWO = 15 trophies.... 5 will be used for each of the basic 'food groups' [Truck, Import, Domestic]. These will similar to winning a Second place. BRACKET THREE = 6 trophies....these will be the equivalent of third place trophies IMPORTANT NOTICE!~~[The State law prohibits bringing alcohol to a restaurant or club that sells alcoholic beverages. Hooters will be STRICTLY ENFORCING this because they can lose their liquor license over it; so PLEASE...lets just go ahead and skip the hassle and don't bring your own alcohol... SEE YOU OUT THERE! |
